Our story
Burak founded S2Reason after seven years working as a paralegal at a personal-injury litigation firm, where he manually processed PIP arbitrations, medical billing summaries, and expert reports. He holds a PhD in political science, currently serves as COO at a data analytics company, and teaches at Montclair State University.
Why “System 2” thinking
The company is named after behavioral economics' concept of deliberate, methodical reasoning. Most automation tools operate with fast, intuitive processing that misses context and produces error-prone outputs. Systems run in a dedicated, single-tenant cloud on AWS and Google Cloud under a complete BAA compliance chain. We serve small to mid-sized New Jersey law firms and medical-billing companies, and build custom systems for teams outside legal where accuracy matters more than speed.
