I'm Burak. I spent 7 years as a legal assistant at Camilla Morch, processing PIP arbitrations, medical billing summaries, and expert reports. I know exactly how long it takes to manually extract CPT codes from a 300-page PDF because I did it hundreds of times.
After completing my PhD, I co-founded Nodely, a data analytics startup where I served as COO. That experience taught me how to build technology that actually works in complex workflows not just demos that look impressive.
Now I'm applying both: deep legal domain expertise and real technical implementation experience. S2Reason isn't built by engineers guessing what lawyers need. It's built by someone who lived the problem.
I also teach at Montclair State University, which keeps me sharp on explaining complex systems in simple terms something I bring to every client conversation.

S2Reason is a New Jersey-based automation company that builds private, HIPAA-compliant document processing systems for law firms. We specialize in automating the document-heavy work that slows down legal practices medical billing analysis, expert report breakdowns, and litigation support workflows.
Unlike generic tools, S2Reason systems are purpose-built for legal workflows. Our technology runs in secure, single-tenant Google Cloud environments, meaning your client data never touches shared infrastructure or third-party services. Every deployment maintains a complete Business Associate Agreement (BAA) chain from Google Cloud through S2Reason to your firm.
We work primarily with small and mid-sized New Jersey law firms handling PIP (Personal Injury Protection) arbitrations and insurance defense cases, as well as medical billing companies processing high-volume billing files. These are the practices where document processing bottlenecks cost the most time and money.
