Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information S2Reason LLC (“S2Reason,” “we”) collects through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers the s2reason.com marketing site only. Client documents and data we process under an engagement are governed by the separate written agreement with that client (including a Business Associate Agreement where PHI is involved), not by this policy.
Information we collect
Information you give us
If you submit our contact form, we collect the name, company, and email address you provide, and a phone number if you choose to add one. We use this solely to respond to your inquiry and follow up about a potential engagement. Please do not submit protected health information (PHI), client records, or other confidential material through this form. It is for initial contact only.
Information collected automatically
- Analytics. We use our own first-party analytics to measure how visitors use this site, such as which pages are viewed, how far visitors scroll, which links and buttons they click, and which website, search engine, or AI assistant sent them here (never what you searched for or typed). It stores a random, anonymous identifier in your browser rather than a tracking cookie. It holds no name, email, or other personal information, is never shared with third parties, and is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. Clearing your browser’s site data removes it.
- Tool usage. Our interactive tools, such as the Medicare Rate Lookup, store a random, anonymous identifier in your browser to measure how the tool is used and to count returning visits. - Server logs. Our infrastructure records standard request metadata (such as IP address and user agent) to operate and secure the site.
Cookies
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The site uses only the minimal browser storage required for security, basic operation, and anonymous usage measurement of this site and our tools.
How we use information

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Service providers
We share information only with providers that help us run the site, under contractual confidentiality obligations:
- Cloudflare: website hosting and content delivery.
- Amazon Web Services (SES): delivers your contact-form submission to our team’s inbox.
We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights.
These providers are located in the United States, so information you submit may be processed in the U.S. Where EU/UK data protection law applies, such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses.
Data retention
We keep contact-form inquiries only as long as needed to respond and to maintain our business relationship with you, after which we delete them. You can ask us to delete your information sooner (see below).
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information you have given us. Where the EU/UK GDPR applies, you also have rights to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. Security
We protect information in transit and at rest and follow the practices described on our Security page. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard safeguards.
Children
This site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 18.
AI assistant connector
S2Reason offers a free connector at s2reason.com/mcp that lets an AI assistant look up Medicare Physician Fee Schedule amounts. It requires no account and no sign-in, and it sets no cookies. For each service line a request asks about, we record the tool called, the procedure code, the state (or “national” if none was given), the CMS release used, the result type, the number of lines in the request, a coarse label for the assistant software making the request (such as Claude or ChatGPT), a time stamp, and a random event identifier. We do not record the date of service or the IP address, and this record holds no name, email address, or other personal information. We use it to measure and maintain the connector. We keep these records for 24 months and then delete them. It is not shared and is not used for advertising. To limit abuse, the connector counts requests per network using the connecting IP address for the current minute. We do not store that address. As with every request to this site, our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes the connecting address to deliver the request (see “Server logs” above).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above.
